[MyDaily = Reporter Noh Chan-hyeok] Fenerbahçe has launched a full-scale push to sign Robert Lewandowski following his exit from Barcelona.
The Polish striker is known for his clinical finishing, intelligent positioning and strong link-up play. During stints with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, he scored 447 goals and collected 23 trophies, building one of the most decorated careers in Bundesliga history.
Lewandowski joined Barcelona ahead of the 2022–23 season. In his first year he tallied 33 goals and 8 assists in 46 appearances, earning the La Liga Golden Boot and the league title.
This past season, despite being 37, he made 46 appearances and scored 19 goals, helping Barcelona secure both La Liga and the Supercopa de España.

But this summer, Lewandowski will depart Barcelona. On May 16 (KST), Barcelona confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season.
With his contract expiring in June, interest in his next move has intensified. Manchester United — reportedly looking to offload Joshua Zirkzee — have shown interest, while Fenerbahçe has acted more aggressively. The Turkish side, aiming to strengthen its attack, has already opened talks with Lewandowski’s camp.

Transfer-market specialist Fabrizio Romano reported on the 2nd that “Fenerbahçe contacted Lewandowski to sign him on a free transfer. They already have a proposal ready.”
Romano added that Fenerbahçe have targeted Lewandowski as a priority summer signing and are pursuing contact, while the striker is weighing all options. “He has already received several offers,” Romano said.
