The San Francisco Giants are adding a new outfielder. Venezuelan outlet Baseball Por Gotas reported on the 22nd (KST), citing sources, that the Giants plan to call up right-handed hitter Victor Berricoto, 24, to the major leagues. Berricoto didn’t appear on MLB.com’s team prospect lists, but he has played in 43 games this season for Triple-A Sacramento.
