[MyDaily = Reporter Shim Hye-jin] The Los Angeles Dodgers erupted offensively and rolled to a lopsided win.

The Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 15-1 on the 27th (Korean time) at Uniqlo at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Los Angeles’ lineup read: Shohei Ohtani (designated hitter) — Andy Pages (center field) — Freddie Freeman (first base) — Mookie Betts (shortstop) — Kyle Tucker (right field) — Teoscar Hernández (left field) — Will Smith (catcher) — Miguel Rojas (second base) — Kiké Hernández (third base). Erik Lauer took the ball as the starter.

Pages, batting second, and Betts, batting fourth, were the catalysts. Pages finished with four hits, including a homer, and three RBIs. Betts collected three hits and drove in five runs.

The Dodgers struck first in the opening frame. After Freeman’s single, Betts launched a two-run homer with two outs and a runner on first — his fifth of the season.

They added two more homers in the third. Leading off the inning with a 2-1 lead, Kiké hit his first homer since returning from injury. After one out, Pages followed with a solo shot.

Their big inning came in the fourth. After one out, Rojas singled, Kiké doubled and Ohtani was hit by a pitch to load the bases. A wild pitch allowed an easy run to score. With runners at second and third, Pages ripped a two-run double to push the lead to 7-1. Pages then stole third, and Freeman added a sacrifice fly to extend the cushion.

Defensively, Los Angeles made a change in the fifth: Kiké came out, Rojas shifted to third, and Kim Hye-sung entered as a defensive replacement at second.

Kim got his first plate appearance in the sixth. With one out and runners on second and third, he attacked new pitcher Jack Agnos’ first pitch — a 95.2-mph sinker — and plated a run with a sacrifice fly.

Fueled by Betts’ three-run blast and Will Smith’s two-run homer, the Dodgers led 15-1. In the bottom of the sixth with two outs, Kim faced Agnos again and struck out swinging on an 87.2-mph splitter on a 0-2 count.

Kim finished 0-for-2 with one RBI, raising his season average to .254.

With the game well in hand, the Dodgers sent Miguel Rojas to the mound in the ninth, but he struggled. After one out, consecutive singles preceded a three-run homer by Sullivan. More hits produced another three-run shot, this one by Kyle Caros. Rojas then allowed a double to Johnston and an RBI single to Sterlin Thompson. After surrendering consecutive hits that loaded the bases, Rojas managed to get Sullivan to fly out to right to escape the jam. The Dodgers prevailed 15-6 and clinched the series.
