The Korea Baseball and Softball Association (KBSA), led by chairman Yang Hae-young, kicked off the 3rd Presidential Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament on May 5 at Mudeung Baseball Stadium. The Gwangju Metropolitan City Baseball and Softball Association co-hosted the event.
The 11-day tournament runs through May 15. Top “champion of champions” teams—elementary schools and youth club squads that posted strong results last year—have converged from across the country to battle for the national youth baseball crown.
