[MyDaily = Reporter Noh Chan-hyuk] Cheongju KB Stars clinched the regular-season title with a win over Busan BNK Sum.
KB Stars rolled past BNK 94-69 on March 30 at Busan’s Sajik Gymnasium in the BNK Financial 2025-2026 Women’s Professional Basketball season.
The victory secured KB Stars’ sixth regular-season No. 1 finish and their first since the 2023-24 campaign. Even if second-place Bucheon Hana Bank wins its remaining games, KB would remain atop the standings thanks to a 4-2 head-to-head edge this season.
The standout was center Park Ji-su, who dominated the paint with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Guards Kang I-seul (18 points, 7 assists) and Heo Ye-eun (14 points, 8 assists) provided timely scoring from the perimeter to help seal the win.

BNK’s Kim Sonia fought hard and posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, but her effort wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
KB set the tone early, jumping out to a 26-14 first-quarter lead behind consecutive baskets from Kang I-seul and Heo Ye-eun.
BNK trimmed the gap to 32-30 in the second on a Kim Sonia surge, but Heo’s timely 3-pointers and Park’s work around the rim pushed KB to a 47-40 halftime lead.
The game swung decisively in the third. Park poured in 13 points as BNK’s outside shooting went cold, and KB stretched the lead quickly. They controlled the fourth quarter and celebrated the title with a 25-point victory.

Meanwhile, at Ulsan Dongcheon Gymnasium, Wonju DB defeated Ulsan Hyundai Mobis 90-81 in an LG Electronics KBL regular-season game.
Wonju DB locked up at least fourth place behind double-doubles from Henry Ellenson (30 points, 10 rebounds) and Iseon Albano (21 points, 14 assists). Hyundai Mobis’ Hammons chipped in 29 points and 10 rebounds but couldn’t prevent the team from remaining in eighth place.
