The Korea Golf Course Management Association released a report on January 10th detailing the operational status of golf courses during the holiday period from January 16th to 18th.
The data reveals that 48 golf courses will remain fully operational throughout the three-day holiday, including New Year’s Day itself. On the flip side, 51 courses will close for just one day, while 18 will shut down for the entire holiday period.
Some courses may still be undecided about their schedules due to winter closures or potential snowfall. Golfers are advised to check course websites for the latest updates before booking.
The association has committed to promptly updating any changes to golf course schedules on their website.
In light of this survey, holiday golfers will need to pay close attention to the operating schedules of individual courses.
