[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] A 60-year-old YouTuber and former reporter for a major national news outlet fell from the Incheon Bridge and died.
On the 10th, the Incheon Coast Guard said the man, identified as A, fell into the waters toward Songdo near the bridge’s main tower at about 12:37 p.m. the previous day.
Coast Guard rescue teams responded to the call and pulled A from the water 17 minutes after they were dispatched. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but later died.
Reports identify A as a former reporter who ran a conservative-leaning YouTube channel and had continued uploading content until recently.
Coast Guard officials are investigating the circumstances and interviewing witnesses to determine exactly what happened.
