Park Hyung-joon, the preliminary candidate for Busan mayor, shared a meal of beef brisket soup with campaign staff at a restaurant in Busan on the evening of May 1, International Workers’ Day. With his campaign office opening scheduled for May 2, the gathering offered a brief moment to regroup.
Earlier on social media, Park wrote, “Today is a day to reaffirm the value and dignity of labor,” and added, “I thank all workers who labor and sweat for us.”
