Unlocking Citizen Power: Explore the Features of Lee Jae-myung’s New Blue House Platform
Daniel Kim Views

On the 30th, marking the 300th day of President Lee Jae-myung’s administration, the Blue House launched an official website designed to facilitate two-way communication with the public.
The site, which went live today, reflects the administration’s commitment to popular sovereignty, participation and open communication, and aims to create a platform where citizens can actively engage in national affairs.
In particular, the site added three “citizen-participation” menu options, enabling people to move beyond passive consumption of information to produce government-related content and propose policies directly.
The administration also strengthened transparency and accessibility by adding a “Pre-disclosed Information List” menu that proactively publishes information inventories from key ministries and agencies for public viewing.
The move aligns with the government’s philosophy of popular sovereignty and transparent governance, seeking to guarantee the public’s right to know and enhance administrative transparency.
