[TV Daily reporter Hana Choi] Singer-songwriter Ha Hyun-sang laid bare his distinctive musical vision by performing every track from his second studio album live with a full band.
On May 4, Ha uploaded live clips of all nine tracks from New Boat to his official YouTube channel. The videos present the album in full — including the title track \”New Boat,\” \”Playback,\” \”biscuit (Feat. SUMIN),\” and \”Odyssey\” — captured with a band that preserves the immediacy of a live show. Filmed in a sunlit room, Ha plays guitar barefoot and delivers a quietly nuanced performance. From a whistle-led intro to moments of dynamic camera movement, his vocals and the visual direction work together to draw in viewers’ sight and sound. Releasing live clips for every song is an uncommon choice that underscores his pride as an artist and his commitment to fans. Arriving about three years after his previous full-length, New Boat reflects a broadened musical palette. Ha led the work on every track, weaving songs from different genres into a single, organic flow and demonstrating his strengths as a performance-focused artist. On the international front, Ha recently sold out his solo show at Billboard Live TAIPEI, playing to enthusiastic local audiences.
