LipMotor plans to officially unveil its flagship full‑size SUV, the D19, on April 16.

The company has opened blind pre‑orders, and the D19 is already drawing attention for its reported technology and safety features ahead of the launch.

In extreme icy testing, the D19 reportedly maintained speeds of about 80 km/h (50 mph) and 120 km/h (75 mph) even after two tires on the same side failed simultaneously — a claim that has attracted considerable attention.

Full‑Size SUV — Roughly 5.2 m Long (about 17 ft 3 in)

Offered as Both EV and EREV Models

The D19 measures 5,252 mm (about 17 ft 3 in) long with a 3,110 mm (about 10 ft 2 in) wheelbase.

That makes it larger than the Hyundai Palisade and positions the D19 as a true full‑size SUV, where a roomier cabin is expected.

Styling follows the brand’s latest family face, with a “star ring” front light bar and split headlamp clusters.

The EV variant includes a frunk (front trunk) and shows several exterior differences compared with the range‑extended EREV version.

The rear is fitted with ISD interactive lighting and an integrated taillamp assembly to reinforce a futuristic visual identity.

Reviewers describe the cabin as a “mobile smart space.”

Digital hardware includes a 60‑inch AR‑HUD, a 17.3‑inch center display, a 21.4‑inch rear entertainment screen and a 6‑inch rear control panel, among other systems.

The D19 also offers second‑row zero‑gravity seats, 12‑layer premium seating, an 8.1 L vehicle refrigerator (about 2.1 gal), an oxygen generator and an in‑car scent system as part of a high‑end comfort package.

It will be offered in 5‑, 6‑ and 7‑seat configurations, targeting both family buyers and the VIP transport market.

Value Pricing Around 50 Million KRW

Packed with Next‑Gen Technology

The D19 will be offered with two powertrain choices.

The EREV variant uses a 1.5‑liter turbo engine as a generator paired with an 80.3 kWh battery, promising up to about 500 km (roughly 311 miles) of electric driving range. The system output is rated at 536 horsepower.

The pure electric EV model pairs a 115 kWh battery with a 1,000 V high‑voltage architecture to claim up to 720 km (about 447 miles) on the CLTC cycle, with combined output of 724 horsepower.

LipMotor is targeting a price band of 250,000–300,000 yuan (about $35,000–$42,000 USD), which equates roughly to 55–66 million KRW (about $41,250–$49,500 USD).

If LipMotor decides to launch the D19 in Korea, industry watchers will be watching to see whether it can dent the Hyundai Palisade’s strong position in the large SUV market.
