Chevrolet Expands in Busan: New Showroom Opens to Boost Brand Presence in Southeast Korea

| Seoul – Chevrolet is expanding its customer reach in the key Busan and South Gyeongsang markets with the launch of a new showroom in Haeundae, Busan, the automaker announced on the 10th.
The Haeundae showroom, strategically located in the southeastern economic hub that blends marine tourism with international business demand, aims to boost brand awareness and attract new customers.
Despite its urban location, the 334.8-square-meter facility can showcase up to seven vehicles. The showroom features popular models like the Trax crossover and Trailblazer, allowing visitors to experience the vehicles firsthand and receive expert consultations. Chevrolet plans to differentiate itself by offering a superior customer experience, combining a welcoming showroom environment with professional guidance.
The opening event on the 9th drew about 25 attendees, including GM Korea President Hector Villarreal, company executives, local dealership representatives, partners, and customers. Chevrolet intends to enhance its localized service capabilities by leveraging its nationwide network of over 380 service partners.
Hector Villarreal, President of GM Korea, stated, “The Haeundae showroom opening is a strategic move to expand our customer touchpoints in the crucial Busan and South Gyeongsang region. It’s designed to elevate our brand competitiveness, targeting high-income and global customers. We envision this new showroom becoming a local hub that embodies innovation and trust.”
