Iran’s missile and drone strikes halted operations at Kuwait International Airport. In a statement on June 3 (local time), Kuwait’s Defense Ministry said multiple hostile Iranian drones targeted Terminal 1. The ministry said the terminal sustained significant structural damage and that several people were injured and are receiving treatment. Kuwait’s civil aviation authorities suspended all operations at the airport and diverted inbound flights to alternate airports. Kuwait International Airport was damaged in an Iranian retaliatory strike following U.S. and Israeli military action against Iran on Feb. 28, forcing a temporary suspension of normal operations. International passenger flights had resumed on June 1 but were halted again two days later. #Iran #Kuwait #Airport #Attack Yonhap News TV — For inquiries and tips: KakaoTalk/Line jebo23 Lee Ji-yoon (easyun@yna.co.kr)
