According to Yonhap News, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Akraminia, the Iranian military spokesman, told a pro-government rally in Tehran’s Valiasr Square that the military “treated the cease-fire that had continued for the past six weeks like wartime” and “used it as an opportunity to bolster its combat strength.”
