Reuters reported on the 10th (local time) that Iran’s military met with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei and received new directives for military operations.

Reuters, citing the semi-official Fars News Agency, said Ali Abdollahi, commander of Khatam al‑Anbiya — the body that coordinates Iran’s unified military forces — briefed Mojtaba Khamenei on Iran’s readiness. Fars did not provide a specific date for the meeting.
Abdollahi said Iran’s military is prepared to confront any action by U.S. or Israeli adversaries and warned that if they “make a mistake,” Iran would respond swiftly, forcefully and decisively.
More than two months into the war, Iran has not formally responded to a ceasefire memorandum of understanding (MOU) proposed by the United States. Its military has repeatedly stressed it would respond forcefully if the U.S. launched another attack.
State news agency IRNA quoted Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia in an interview saying that if the enemy miscalculates again and invades Iran, it will face a “surprising response,” which would include new weapons, new tactics and new battlefields.
Two months after his selection as Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public or released any recordings of his voice.
President Masoud Pezeshkian said on the 7th that he met with Mojtaba Khamenei — the first time Iran has publicly confirmed Mojtaba met with a senior official.
