On April 22 (local time), Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said it seized three vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, alleging the ships attempted to transit without permission from Iranian forces. The IRGC said it detained two container ships — the MSC Francesca and the Depaminodas — and escorted them into Iranian territorial waters to inspect their cargo. It also alleged the MSC Francesca had links to Israel and said both ships repeatedly violated regulations. Iran’s Mehr news agency reported the IRGC Navy also seized the container ship Euphoria as it passed through the Strait of Hormuz. #Iran #ship #Hormuz #seizure #IRGC Yonhap News TV — Inquiries and tips: KakaoTalk/LINE jebo23 Choi Jin-kyung (highjean@yna.co.kr)
