[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] Video of singer Jung Dong-won’s graduation from the South Korean Marine Corps was posted online, and his more mature bearing drew attention.
On April 2, the Defense Media Agency’s KFN YouTube channel uploaded a video titled \”Marine Corps Class 1327 Graduation Ceremony.\”
The footage captures the graduation ceremony held at the Marine Corps Training Unit in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province.
The video also includes shots of Jung, who enlisted on March 23. In his Marine uniform, he delivers a sharp, precise salute.
Viewers also noted his composed, soldierly presence while he sang the service song.
Ahead of his enlistment, his agency said joining the Marines was a decision Jung had long wanted.
Jung is expected to serve roughly 18 months on active duty and to be discharged in August 2027.
