How Mungyeong City Council Supports Local Heroes: Gifts for Soldiers and Firefighters

(Gyeongbuk, USA) – The Mungyeong City Council, led by Chairman Lee Jeong-gul, made a series of goodwill visits to local military units and fire stations on the 10th. The council delivered care packages and offered words of encouragement to service members and first responders ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
These visits were organized to show support for the troops and firefighters who remain vigilant in their duties of local defense and disaster prevention, even during the festive season.
The delegation stopped at the Mungyeong Yecheon Battalion and Mungyeong Fire Station, where they distributed care packages, expressed gratitude to on-duty personnel, and took time to hear about any challenges they face.
Chairman Lee emphasized, “Our citizens can enjoy a peaceful holiday with their loved ones thanks to the unwavering commitment of our troops and firefighters who stand guard in these harsh winter conditions. We deeply appreciate your service and sacrifice.”
