2026 Small Business Advertising Support: How 114 Companies Can Get Up to 9 Million Won

The Broadcasting, Media and Communications Commission has selected 114 small businesses that have struggled with marketing and will support the entire process—from producing broadcast ads to getting them on the air.
On April 8, the commission said it had chosen 114 recipients for the “2026 Small Business Broadcast Advertisement Production Support Project,” a program designed to help small firms build self-reliance, spur growth and revitalize local economies and the broadcast advertising market.
Selected businesses can receive support covering up to 90% of production and airtime costs for both TV and radio ads, up to a maximum of 9,000,000 KRW (approximately $6,750). They will also receive one‑on‑one, customized marketing consulting from broadcast‑advertising professionals.
A total of 615 small businesses applied for the open call. The commission evaluated applications based on business operation plans, competitiveness, advertising suitability and expected growth impact. It initially prioritized 83 companies located outside the Seoul metropolitan area—including those in the Busan‑Gyeongnam and Gwangju‑Jeolla regions—and then selected the remaining 31 in order of their overall evaluation scores.
“We hope this broadcast‑advertising support will provide tangible help to small businesses and contribute to the development of the broadcast advertising market and local economies,” said Kim Jong‑cheol, chair of the Broadcasting, Media and Communications Commission. “We will work to ensure that more small businesses can benefit going forward.”
