Box Office Battle: ‘Salmoji’ Tops Charts with 227,001 Viewers – Will It Break 800,000?

[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Horror film Salmokji remained No. 1 at the box office.
According to the Korea Film Council’s integrated box office network on the 11th, the horror film Salmokji drew 227,001 admissions, bringing its cumulative total to 526,354. It is closing in on the roughly 800,000-admission breakeven point.
In second place was the sci-fi Project Hail Mary. It added 121,176 admissions, pushing its cumulative total past 1,944,272.
The 10-million-grossing The Man Who Lives With the King drew 70,659 viewers, raising its cumulative total to 16,331,379. That pushed it past Extreme Job (16.26 million) to become the second-highest-grossing Korean film of all time.
Fourth place went to Running Man: Light & Shadow (6,701 admissions), and fifth went to Hoppers (5,725 admissions).
