[JoyNews24 reporter Lee Ji-young] Kim Hyung-muk took a blade meant for Kim Seung-soo.
The April 4 episode of KBS2’s We Prescribe Love featured Yang Dong-ik (Kim Hyung-muk) and Gong Jeong-han (Kim Seung-soo) becoming embroiled in a robbery.
That day, Yang Hyun-bin (Park Ki-woong) is stunned to learn that Cha Se-ri (So Yi-hyun) was the original source of the video that sparked a witch-hunt against Gong Ju-a (Jin Se-yeon).

Yang Hyun-bin confronts Yang Dong-ik at his home over his failure to stop Cha Se-ri, urging him to apologize to Gong Jeong-han. Yang Dong-ik concedes and goes to find Gong Jeong-han. Gong Jeong-han asks Oh Jin-a (Kim Min-a) to finish up at the clinic and steps outside.
While Oh Jin-a is tallying the day’s receipts and preparing to leave, a robber enters. Seeing she’s alone, he pulls a knife and threatens her. Patrol officer Jeong Ki-beom (Hong Jin-gi), on duty nearby, hears her scream and rushes to the scene; the robber then takes Oh Jin-a hostage and squares off with Jeong Ki-beom.

After a struggle with Jeong Ki-beom, the robber flees into an alley where he runs into Yang Dong-ik and Gong Jeong-han. Gong Jeong-han ignores Yang Dong-ik’s plea to flee and confronts the assailant, nearly getting stabbed. Seeing this, Yang Dong-ik throws himself in front of the blade and is stabbed instead. Gong Jeong-han panics as he watches Yang Dong-ik collapse.
