(The CEN News / Reporter Son Chaeyoung) KBS 1TV has wrapped final preparations to launch its new daily drama, ‘Our Happy Day,’ ahead of its premiere.
Premiering March 30, ‘Our Happy Day’ is a family melodrama that centers on a combustible relationship between a meticulous perfectionist and a lovably hapless woman, weaving in stories that span multiple generations.

The production team released a full preview on March 23 that outlines the show’s central arcs. The clip opens on Jo Eun-ae (Eom Hyun-kyung), co-CEO and lead developer at the startup Lucky Joy, confidently delivering a presentation — then abruptly cuts to her fleeing a protest and screaming, \”Give me my child back!\” — a jolting twist that hints at darker stakes.
Viewers are already talking about the unpredictable dynamic between Go Gyeol (Yoon Jong-hoon), head of strategic planning at Gangsu Construction, and Jo Eun-ae. The collision of his icy perfectionism with her free-spirited energy promises watchable chemistry.

Another core thread is a succession struggle within a powerful family-run conglomerate. Go Gyeol finds himself in turmoil after learning that his grandfather, Gangsu Group chairman Go Gang-su (Lee Ho-jae), is in failing health.
Though he had declared he would not participate in the succession battle, the plea framed as a \”final request\” shakes him, escalating tensions across the family.

The drama further heightens its appeal with scenes of Jo Eun-ae angrily confronting an acquisition dispute and a string of comic moments that leave Go Gyeol trapped in unexpected situations.
Jo Eun-ae arrives at Gangsu Construction as a six-month temporary intern, and the delicate triangle between her, Go Min-ho (Jung Yoon), and Seo Seung-ri (Yoon Da-young) is being promoted as another key storyline to watch.

Jo Eun-ae’s vow — \”It’s not over yet\” — raises questions about the conflicts and choices the characters will soon face.
Meanwhile, ‘Our Happy Day’ succeeds ‘Mary and the Strange Dads’ and premieres March 30 at 8:30 p.m. on KBS 1TV.
