[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] Yoon Jong-hoon opened up about how closely he identifies with his \”perfect man\” character in the KBS1 daily drama ‘Gippeun Uri Joeun Nal.’
On March 30, the production held an online press conference for the new daily series. Director Lee Jae-sang appeared alongside cast members Yoon Jong-hoon, Eom Hyun-kyung, Jung Yoon, Yoon Da-young, Kim Hye-ok, Sunwoo Jae-duk, Yoon Da-hoon, Moon Hee-kyung, Lee Sang-sook and Jung Ho-bin.
The show is a generational melodrama about a seemingly flawless man and a hapless woman whose volatile clash becomes a high-stakes fight for agency — each character trying to become the protagonist of their own life.
Yoon plays Go-gyeol, the head of strategic planning at Kangsu Construction and the series’ picture of a \”perfect\” man.
At the event, he said, \”I’m 0% in sync with the ‘perfect man.’ But the warmth inside Go-gyeol feels 100% like me.\”
He added that he embraced the director’s direction and worked hard to bring it to life. \”I focused on playing someone who remains emotionally steady and capable of handling things on his own,\” he said.
‘Gippeun Uri Joeun Nal’ premieres tonight (March 30) at 8:30 p.m. KST.
