Lee documented his journey through marriage, childbirth and adoption on KBS2’s The Men Who Do Housework (Season 2), drawing widespread public support. Last year he legally adopted A-mi’s 7-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, making headlines, and in December he and A-mi welcomed a second daughter, making him father to two young children.
The couple first met in 2013 on Shinhwa’s Japan tour after an introduction from an acquaintance. They briefly lost contact during the COVID-19 pandemic but reconnected afterward and began dating.
With this marriage, Lee becomes the fourth member of Shinhwa to tie the knot, following Eric, Jun Jin and Andy.
