Gi Su-jong (Ha Jung-woo) and Kim Sun (Im Soo-jung) had their secrets exposed while trying to protect the Seyun Building, and circumstances forced them into an uneasy shared fate as a married couple, raising questions about how their relationship will evolve.

When the Seyun Building faced the threat of auction, Gi Su-jong staged a fake kidnapping to protect the property and his family. Kim Sun, who witnessed the ruse, decided to stand by her husband to safeguard their home, but the revelation of her affair sparked a confrontation. An unexpected accident, however, brought them back together: café owner and tenant Oh Dong-gi (Hyun Bong-sik) broke into the bathroom where the couple had hidden the cash bundle that proved the staged kidnapping, and in the chaos he was accidentally stabbed with scissors. Now bound as accomplices, the couple must manage the fallout. Viewers are eager to see how their tense cooperation at the edge will play out.

What appeared to be a wealthy, happy marriage between Min Hwal-seong (Kim Jun-han) and Jeon Yi-kyung (Jung Soo-jung) hid unseen cracks that culminated in a shocking fake kidnapping. Min, who married into money and became a live-in son-in-law, felt invisible and disregarded within the household. Pressed by loan sharks, he concocted a plan to stage his wife’s kidnapping to extort money from his mother-in-law. The scheme unraveled: he suffered a fall and slipped into a coma. Unaware of the truth, Jeon Yi-kyung cried at his bedside and began to suspect he might be involved with another woman. How she discovers Min’s behind-the-scenes machinations — and the consequences that follow — will be a storyline to watch.

Episode 5 of Building Owner airs Saturday the 28th at 9:10 PM.
