[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Climax has extended its momentum, ranking No. 1 among Monday–Tuesday dramas in the key 20–49 demographic while also topping domestic charts on global streaming platform Disney+ for eight straight days, underscoring its strong buzz.
As of March 25, Climax had held the No. 1 spot domestically on Disney+ for eight consecutive days. On March 24 the series hit a series-high 1.3% in the 20–49 demo, securing the top position among Monday–Tuesday dramas and winning over its target audience. Its peak minute-by-minute household rating in the Seoul metropolitan area also surpassed 4.2%, reflecting high viewer engagement (Nielsen Korea).
The series follows prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, who dives into a power cartel in a bid to reach the highest echelons of the country, and the fierce survival struggles of those caught around him.
Climax topped FUNdex’s TV-OTT drama and TV drama buzz rankings, reached No. 1 on Naver Open Talk, and ranked No. 2 on Naver Enter’s \”Most Searched Dramas\” list. It also led WatchaPedia’s Korean series rankings and placed No. 2 on content-ranking platform KinoRites’ Weekly Trend Ranking, sweeping multiple charts and proving its explosive popularity.
The series was produced by HYBE & Mediacorp, companies known for well-made, commercially successful projects such as Seoul Spring, Inside Men, The Man Standing Next, Deliver Us from Evil, Opposition, and the Disney+ original series Made in Korea. Director Lee Ji-won — who won multiple best-new-director awards, including at the Baeksang Arts Awards for the film Miss Baek — makes his drama directorial debut here, lending additional credibility to the production.
ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Climax continues to captivate viewers and sustain strong momentum. The series airs on ENA every Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 PM and is also available on KT Genie TV and Disney+.
