Actor Wi Ha-joon offered a glimpse into Park Min-young’s off-screen personality.
On the 24th, the web variety show Salon Drip, streamed on the YouTube channel TEO 테오, welcomed Park Min-young and Wi Ha-joon as guests to promote their drama Siren.
Park said this was her first time appearing on a talk variety show to promote the series. She explained she’d avoided those programs previously because she worried that showing her true self might distract viewers from the drama.
When comedian Jang Do-yeon met Park for the first time, she said Park’s early roles in Unstoppable High Kick and Sungkyunkwan Scandal left a lasting impression, giving Park a crisp, no-nonsense image. Wi Ha-joon, however, surprised the room by describing Park as unexpectedly quirky and endearingly cute.
Park laughed off the contrast, saying, “I’m far from a perfectionist in everyday life — I only get a little like that when I’m working.” Her playful candor offered a different, more relaxed side than her on-screen persona and drew laughs.
Meanwhile, the tvN drama Siren, which pairs Park Min-young and Wi Ha-joon, is a tense romantic thriller that begins when Cha Woo-seok (Wi Ha-joon), an investigator of insurance fraud, relentlessly targets Han Seol-ah (Park Min-young) as his prime suspect.
