[Herald Muse = Image Reporter] Seven character posters for the horror film Salmokji have been released.
Sal mokji follows a film crew that discovers a mysterious shape captured on a road-view image. When the team returns to the reservoir to reshoot, they encounter something lurking in the black, bottomless water.
The posters spotlight each crew member’s reaction as they face a stone cairn in the dark.
First, Su-in (Kim Hye-yoon) appears drenched and disoriented; the tagline “I only believe what I see with my own eyes” amplifies the curiosity about what awaits her. Gi-tae (Lee Jong-won) fixes a steely gaze on the cairn, his resolve clear—he’s determined to unravel Salmokji’s mystery to the end.
By contrast, Gyo-sik (Kim Jun-han) looks pale and unnerving; the line “Scared on your own? I’ll go with you” adds to the scene’s chill.

Keong-tae (Kim Young-sung), clutching a flashlight, is visibly stunned, while Kyung-jun (Oh Dong-min) is frozen as if confronting something unbelievable. Their reactions make you wonder what those who dismissed the strange rumors actually witnessed.
Seong-bin (Yoon Jae-chan) projects raw, desperate urgency as he tries to escape, while Se-jeong (Jang Da-ah)—who earlier quipped, “We’re going to see ghosts today, right?”—now looks shell-shocked. The contrast deepens the film’s ominous mood.
With seven distinct character portraits, Salmokji promises a brand of horror that is indescribable, unavoidable, and inescapable. The film opens April 8.
