Yoo Ji-tae praised Tzuyang’s 10 million subscribers, admitting, “That’s incredible. I haven’t hit the 10 million mark with a film yet. My best is 5 million. I’m aiming to surpass that with my new movie, ‘The King’s Affection.'”
When fried dumplings were ordered, Yoo Ji-tae confessed, “I actually prefer steamed dumplings. Fried ones are too greasy.” A photo of Choi Min-sik appeared on screen with the caption “My poor health…” eliciting laughter from viewers.
Reflecting on his 28-year career, Yoo Ji-tae shared, “I love movies and strive to improve my craft.” On playing villains, he mused, “While villains harm others, it’s when life experiences are reflected in the work that a film gains true depth.”

Yoo Ji-tae recounted a humorous incident following the release of Disney+’s “Vigilante,” where he was mistaken for a real gangster. “I was approached in a bathhouse. When I explained I was an actor, they wanted a photo – while I was completely naked!”
Teasing “The King’s Affection,” Yoo Ji-tae revealed, “The final scene shows King Danjong playing by the water. It was a spontaneous change after the director saw Park Ji-hoon doing it off-camera. This film really showcases the director’s talent for capturing life’s moments.”
In a lighthearted exchange, Yoo Ji-tae joked with Tzuyang, known for eating 130 plates at a sushi restaurant, “Let’s do sushi next time. My treat!” He quickly laughed, adding, “Oh no, what am I saying?” Tzuyang smiled, noting, “It’s rare for someone to offer to buy me a meal.”
