Ahn Da-bin, the eldest son of the late legendary actor Ahn Sung-ki, recently held a solo art exhibition and shared his heartfelt reflections.
On the 10th, artist Ahn Da-bin took to his social media channel, expressing, “This marks the first solo exhibition I couldn’t share news of with my father.”
He continued, “I feel I’ve begun to grasp how to paint from the heart. Dad’s past words of wisdom are finally resonating with me. Thank you, Dad. I promise to continue my artistic journey with unwavering dedication.”
Ahn Sung-ki, a beloved figure in Korean cinema, was initially diagnosed with blood cancer in 2019. After successful treatment and remission in 2020, he unfortunately faced a recurrence. The veteran actor collapsed on December 30 last year and remained in critical condition for six days before passing away on January 5 at the age of 74.
