The cast of the highly anticipated stage production “The French Vault” held a star-studded press conference on the 10th at Sogyeong Square in Seoul’s Jongno District.
The event was a who’s who of Korean theater, featuring acclaimed director Jang Jin and a powerhouse ensemble including Shin Gu, Song Jil, Jang Hyun-seong, Kim Hang-kyul, Jeong Yong-joo, Jang Yong-nam, Choi Yong-jun, Chu Jong-hyuk, Kim Seul-gi, Geum Se-rok, Jo Dal-fan, and Ahn Doo-ho.
“The French Vault” promises to be a thrilling ride, set against the backdrop of a bank’s underground chamber. The plot revolves around a diverse group of characters, each with their own hidden agendas, who converge in this confined space under the tantalizing premise that the vault can only be opened at midnight when all lights go out. This marks director Jang Jin’s triumphant return to playwriting after a decade-long hiatus, following his critically acclaimed 2015 work “The Secret of Flowers.”
