[Variety] Actor Ryunosuke Kamiki (32), famed for his roles in hit Japanese anime films like “Your Name” and “Suzume,” has tied the knot.
Kamiki’s agency announced the news on their official website on February 10, stating, “We are delighted to share that Ryunosuke Kamiki has married.” They respectfully requested privacy, adding, “As his partner is not a public figure, we kindly ask for discretion regarding media coverage.”
The actor expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his fanbase, saying, “I’m deeply grateful for the unwavering support from my fans over the years. I pledge to continue pursuing my passion for acting with utmost dedication.”
Kamiki, born in 1993, burst onto the scene in 2005 with his lead role in “The Great Yokai War,” clinching the Best New Actor award at the 29th Japan Academy Film Prize.
His voice acting career has been equally impressive, with notable performances in acclaimed films such as “Spirited Away,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Summer Wars,” “Your Name,” and “Suzume.”
