Actor Ryu Un, born in 1998 and debuting in 2017, has unveiled a startling transformation, presenting a face unfamiliar to audiences.
On February 4th, Ryu made a powerful first impression in Disney+’s new series “Bloody Flower,” portraying Lee Woo-kyum, a serial killer with 17 victims who possesses extraordinary medical skills. “Bloody Flower” is a mystery thriller exploring the convictions of characters surrounding a serial killer capable of curing all incurable diseases.
The premiere episode depicted Lee Woo-kyum, arrested as a murder suspect, engaging in an intense psychological battle with defense attorney Park Han-jun (played by Sung Dong-il) and prosecutor Cha I-yeon (played by Geum Sae-rok). Lee maintained an unapologetic stance, claiming his murders were committed to develop a cure for incurable diseases, insisting he had saved lives. The taut confrontation between Park Han-jun and Cha I-yeon created a breathtaking psychological duel that heightened the show’s suspense.
Lee Woo-kyum’s unpredictable behavior, such as smiling during a lie detector test and maintaining a relaxed demeanor in the courtroom, intensified the tension. His enigmatic identity and concealed motives fueled curiosity about his character, building anticipation for future plot developments.
