Actor Park Jung-min has lavished extraordinary praise on his co-star Shin Se-kyung’s beauty and Jo In-sung’s character, setting a new benchmark for celebrity compliments.
In a video released on Chungju City’s official YouTube channel on the 10th, Park sat down with ‘Chungju Man’ Kim Seon-tae to dish on his latest film, ‘Humint.’ The conversation took an interesting turn when Park opened up about his romantic lead, Shin Se-kyung.
\”I’ll go out on a limb here and say she’s the most stunning celebrity I’ve ever laid eyes on,\” Park gushed, clearly in awe of Shin’s unparalleled visuals. But it wasn’t just her looks that impressed him. \”She’s an incredibly grounded actress,\” he added, commending her professional approach. In a previous sit-down, Park had humbly credited Shin for the film’s romantic success, saying, \”Shin Se-kyung’s charisma is so powerful that it made slipping into character a breeze. If the romance hits the mark, it’s all thanks to her.\”

Park’s admiration for veteran actor Jo In-sung was equally effusive. \”There’s a reason everyone speaks so highly of ‘Jo In-sung,’\” Park explained. \”He’s not just about picking up the tab for meals and drinks. He’s the epitome of a true mentor, always ready with spot-on advice for his juniors.\” Park also touched on his tight-knit relationship with frequent collaborator Park Hae-joon, quipping, \”We’ve shared so many sets that we’re practically joined at the hip now.\”
The conversation also offered a glimpse into Park’s thoughtful approach to his craft. Reflecting on working with directors, he mused, \”Sure, sometimes their vision can be tough to grasp, but at the end of the day, we’re like brushes helping to paint their masterpiece. Given time, you start to see where they’re coming from, and any initial frustrations just melt away.\”
‘Humint,’ the latest offering from acclaimed director Ryoo Seung-wan, is a high-octane spy thriller following North and South Korean agents as they navigate a complex web of intrigue near the Vladivostok border. Throughout the interview, Park deftly sidestepped potential spoilers while engaging in witty banter with ‘Chungju Man,’ ramping up anticipation for the film’s release.
