Actor Park Jung-min recently revealed the intriguing story behind his appearance on the official YouTube channel of Chungju City, shedding light on an unexpected collaboration between entertainment and local government.
Park made a guest appearance on the ‘Chungju City’ YouTube channel on the 10th, engaging in a lively conversation with Kim Seon-tae, affectionately known as ‘Chungju Man.’ During the video, Park disclosed that he obtained Kim’s contact information through his friend, the popular YouTuber Chimakman. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Kim Seon-tae proactively reached out to Park, greeting him with a simple, “Hello, this is Kim Seon-tae.” Seizing the opportunity, Park expressed his admiration and desire to appear on the Chungju Man channel. Kim’s enthusiastic response, “The sooner, the better,” quickly set the wheels in motion for Park’s guest appearance.
When asked about his choice to connect with the ‘Chungju City’ channel among the myriad of YouTube options, Park offered a thoughtful explanation. “I pondered over which YouTuber communicates most authentically with their audience, really connecting on a personal level,” Park shared. “Chungju Man emerged as the clear answer.”
Meanwhile, Park Jung-min is gearing up for his role in acclaimed director Ryoo Seung-wan’s upcoming thriller, ‘Humint.’ The highly anticipated film, which also stars Jo In-sung, Shin Se-kyung, and Park Hae-joon, follows North and South Korean secret agents as they investigate mysterious events unfolding at the Vladivostok border.
