[RealFood=Reporter Yeon‑su Park] Paris Baguette has unveiled a chic, dessert-focused concept shop called Café de Dessert (CAFÉ de DESSERT·사진) near Seocho Station in Seoul’s Gangnam district on the 16th.
The cozy, 52-seat space channels Parisian pâtisserie vibes with warm wood tones, soft lighting and an open dessert display that puts the pastries front and center.
Slice cakes take the spotlight, with options like the Fresh Strawberry Cream Cake and Pavé Fresh Chocolate Cake. The pastry case also features four financiers—Lotus, Oreo, fig and chocolate—plus mini pound cakes, scones and tarts to satisfy every sweet tooth.
Drinks include roughly 20 coffee and noncoffee selections, such as Sweet Golden Coffee and Omija Yuzu Sparkling. For something more filling, the menu offers meal-style items like the Chicken Cutlet Salad Wrap and Jambon Cheese Mushroom Multigrain.
Paris Baguette will run the location as a test site while refining the concept for possible wider rollout. A company spokesperson said, “We will continue experimenting with initiatives tailored to changing customer tastes to deliver a differentiated brand experience.”
