The Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo is staging a flower fashion show set against its garden backdrop.
On the 6th, the expo’s organizing committee announced that the Healing Flower Fashion Show will take place on the 9th at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Expo Plaza Garden and the Ieum Garden.
The program blends horticultural therapy, fashion, and classical music. Five floral artworks by a floral artist will debut on the runway, accompanied by live classical pieces, including violin performances.
The show will use a slow runway along the garden paths, letting visitors stroll through the expo grounds and watch the performances up close.
The nonprofit Supermodel Areumhoe is handling planning and direction. Thirty models will appear onstage: 22 supermodels, five senior models from Myongji University, and an 11-year-old kid model.
Actress Yoon Ji-min’s daughter, Kwon Ha‑i, and supermodel Lee Hye‑min’s daughter, Dana, will walk the runway with their families. Actor Kwon Hae‑seong will also join the stage, creating a cross-generational showcase.
Wardrobe comes from designer Park Yoon‑su’s Big Pak collection. Hair and styling are by Lee Chul Hair Kukker, while Thai floral artist Pu will present fresh-flower designs under the theme “Spring Flowers.”
The event includes a charitable component: part of the proceeds and participants’ donated services will go to Pyeonggang House, a residential facility for people with severe disabilities in Daejeon. A Rehome campaign to support adoption of abandoned and rescued dogs will run alongside the show.
The 2026 Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo, themed “A Healthy Future Found in Nature: Horticulture & Healing,” runs through the 24th at Kkotji Coastal Park on Anmyeon Island.
A spokesperson for the organizing committee said, “We designed a stage that blends gardens, flowers, fashion, and music so visitors can experience the essence of horticultural therapy. It will offer expo-goers a fresh and memorable attraction.”
