
Black Yak, the global outdoor brand, has unveiled a spring campaign film for the 343 Light Step, starring brand ambassador IU. The spot showcases the ultralight, multipurpose trekking shoe’s blend of featherlight comfort and dependable stability while capturing the free-spirited energy of spring.
The video opens with IU lacing up and bouncing carefree on a colorful inflatable platform. A narrator chimes in, “When your heart and your steps feel light, we sing, la-la-la, Light Step,” as IU moves with effortless ease, demonstrating the shoe’s light, comfortable feel. When she jumps, the scene shifts from the inflatable to a sweeping natural landscape, underscoring the shoe’s airy lightness.
The 343 Light Step is the latest model in Black Yak’s popular 343 trekking series, designed with an efficient energy split—30% uphill, 40% downhill, and 30% everyday use. Weighing just 330 g, it’s extremely light yet offers cushioning and stability for short hikes and daily wear. The shoe is available in 6 colorways to broaden styling options.
