[Korea Financial Times reporter Park Seul-gi] Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 26th that it is debuting Louis Vuitton at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 — the first time the global luxury house has opened at the terminal since it launched seven years ago.
Shinsegae Duty Free has opened a shopping space on the third floor of Terminal 2. The company plans to complete the duplex, expanding up to the fourth floor, within the first half of the year. The Louis Vuitton duplex is a Korean airport first and is designed to give luxury-loving travelers a distinct, elevated shopping experience.
The shop blends modern design with Louis Vuitton’s heritage. In the airy, sophisticated space, visitors will find leather goods, accessories, shoes, fine jewelry and fragrances. It also features signature travel bags for jetsetters and exclusive items available only at airport duty-free locations.
Building on this collaboration with Louis Vuitton, Shinsegae Duty Free plans to deepen partnerships with other global luxury brands. The company will continue expanding its brand portfolio to reflect the latest trends and customer preferences, aiming to make its Incheon Airport location a go-to landmark for airport shopping.
A Shinsegae Duty Free spokesperson said, “Opening this store with Louis Vuitton will set a new milestone for global luxury brands’ duty-free strategies. We expect it to play a major role in attracting more independent travelers and driving growth for duty-free retail.”
