[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] Park Young-jin, often billed as \”Kim Young-hee’s man,\” and rising variety talent Um Ji-in will appear on Malja Show.
KBS2 will air Malja Show on the 30th as a \”Working Professionals\” special. Kim Young-hee, known on the program as \”Malja Halmae\” (Malja Grandma), will address the struggles and concerns of office workers with her trademark frank humor.
The show’s first guest is comedian Park Young-jin. Seventeen years ago, when Kim was still a rookie, the two teamed up for the \”Two-Person Debate\” segment on Gag Concert. Park jokingly claimed that the seat later held by Jeong Beom-gyun was originally his.

Given the \”Working Professionals\” theme, Park said he has a message for his fellow members of KBS’s 22nd cohort of comedians. He singled out Huh Kyung-hwan and Yang Sang-guk—two contemporaries who have recently surged in popularity—and hinted he had something to say to them. Whether his remarks were a warning or a well-meaning tease will be revealed on air.
Park also shared a personal anecdote: his wife bought Bitcoin when it was trading in the 300,000 KRW (about 225 USD) range. With that Bitcoin now worth roughly 100 million KRW (about 75,000 USD), viewers will be keen to hear how Park handled the windfall.
The show’s second guest is announcer Um Ji-in. Touted as KBS’s emerging variety star, Um spoke candidly about being labeled \”the next Jun Hyun-moo\” or \”the female Jun Hyun-moo.\” She even stirred curiosity by declaring herself the country’s top announcer and revealing that she announced plans to go freelance in front of the KBS president.
KBS2’s Malja Show airs at 10 p.m. on the 30th.
