Kim Min-cheol, head of the Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Promotion Agency, has been participating in employee clubs to strengthen communication and foster a more approachable organizational culture.
On the 30th, Kim visited the bowling center at Yangpyeong’s Mulmalgeun Complex Stadium, where he bowled with members of the company club Play Ball and spent time talking with staff.
The visit was meant to be more than a leisure activity: it aimed to build stronger bonds within the organization and create a more flexible, energized workplace. It also gave Kim a chance to hear employees’ views firsthand and to get a feel for the workplace atmosphere on site.
The agency has designated the third Friday of each month as “Club Day” to encourage communication and organizational vitality. Active groups include the bowling club Play Ball, the film group Yangpyeong Cinema, the soccer club Hankolman FC, and a food-exploration group called Matji Sunrye.
“With Family Month approaching, I joined the club activities to connect more closely with our staff,” Kim said. “We will continue to build a workplace culture where employees can balance work and life and enjoy coming to work.”
