Designer label XLIM has teamed up with sportswear brand HOKA on a new collaborative collection.
This project reimagines HOKA’s cult-favorite trail runner, the Mafate Speed 2, through XLIM’s sculptural eye. XLIM brings architectural forms to HOKA’s performance-focused footwear, creating a fresh balance between style and utility.
The collection takes cues from the traces time leaves in nature. It focuses on surfaces and textures revealed through wear, erosion, and deformation, and captures moments where natural elements intersect with man-made structures.
With a restrained palette and layered textures, XLIM injects its signature sensibility while HOKA’s function-first engineering keeps the designs grounded. The result is a seamless harmony of form and function.
The first drop—available in black and blue—launches April 18, followed by gray foam and peach dust colorways on May 8. The collection will be available on XLIM’s official online store and at the Hannam flagship store on April 18–19.
