[Herald Economy = Reporter Han Ji-suk] Hotel Shilla CEO Lee Boo-jin once again stole the spotlight with her chic wardrobe at this year’s annual shareholders’ meeting.

She went with an all-black look for the second year in a row, but this outing felt softer and more refined—less severe boardroom uniform, more quietly powerful elegance.

At the Hotel Shilla shareholders’ meeting on the morning of the 19th in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, Lee wore a wool-blend suit set from Gucci. The jacket’s cinched waist and a single metal buckle closure—rather than traditional buttons—accentuated a feminine silhouette. Underneath, she layered a matching black, high-neck, sheer lace blouse to keep the look elegant and visually interesting rather than monotonous.

She carried a Hermès 365 PM tote. Its angular, briefcase-like shape plus the signature H-buckle detail made it a perfectly polished, business-appropriate accessory. The bag currently trades on the resale market for around 4,000,000 KRW (about $3,000).

Previously known for soft, long perms, Lee debuted a fresh mid-length cut this time—shoulder-grazing with her bangs down—which gave her a younger, trend-forward vibe.

Her accessories were subtle but effective: delicate, pearl-like drop earrings added a refined finishing touch that elevated the whole business look.

Last year, she drew attention in a black dress and long black boots by Dolce & Gabbana paired with drop earrings. At the 2024 meeting, she sparked conversation with an all-white monochrome ensemble, wearing an Alexander McQueen white embroidered emblem jacket whose ornate left-chest detail drew the eye upward and created the illusion of added height.

Lee first joined the board as an inside director in 2011 and has maintained management control for 15 years. She secured her sixth consecutive term at this year’s shareholders’ meeting.
