Lotte Hotel Seoul is treating guests to a dessert promotion called Must Be Mango, created with Maison Margiela Fragrance, running through August 31. Inspired by Maison Margiela Fragrance’s new Replica scent Chasing Sunset, the hotel translates the perfume’s notes into sweets. Fresh mango appears as slices and desserts for the fruitier top notes; floral accords are echoed in mousses and creams; and the sandalwood base is interpreted as a vanilla-based cake so you can literally taste the fragrance.

The hotel also teamed up with Moroccan heritage coffee brand Basha Coffee to offer coffee pairings that complement the desserts. The dessert buffet features roughly 30 mango-forward items—from table-served mango shaved ice to premium mango cake, mango crêpes, and mango tarts. Ten hot dishes, including rack of lamb, beef lasagna, fried rice, and rose tteokbokki, are available too, so you can have a full meal alongside your sweets. The afternoon tea set includes 14 bites on a three-tier tray—think zesty mango-yuzu mousse, a chocolate tart filled with ganache, and a fragrant coffee financier—served with your choice of coffee or tea.

There’s also a participatory on-site event. Guests who post a review on social media with the required hashtags and show proof to Peninsula Lounge & Bar staff get a perfume sample (1.2 ml) and a discount voucher on the spot. Plus, the first five guests who enjoy all three offerings—the dessert buffet, the afternoon tea set, and the mango shaved ice a la carte—will receive a full bottle of the Chasing Sunset perfume (30 ml).

Cassia Sokcho has launched a tailored room package called Cassia Babymoon for expectant parents. The package includes one night’s stay, Vista breakfast for two, and a couple’s yoga class designed to help partners find balance in body and mind.

The prenatal yoga class focuses on low-intensity movements and breathing techniques that respect an expectant mother’s changing body. It helps relieve tension and promote stability during pregnancy, and is held in the ActivA Fitness Center GX room on the fifth floor with sessions at either 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. In partnership with global skincare brand Biotherm, Cassia is offering a limited Biotherm Gift Box that includes Biotherm Bébé Réparateur stretch mark cream (150 ml) and Life Plankton Multi-Corrective Body Oil (125 ml).

Expectant guests also receive a thoughtful Cassia maternity badge. Presenting the badge while using hotel facilities grants 50% off the pool and sauna, and 20% off the Vista dinner buffet and Horizon dining menu. Rooms come with decaffeinated drip coffee bags, and the hotel offers air purifiers and body pillow rentals. Cassia Babymoon bookings open May 18, with stays available from May 21; reservations must be made at least three days before arrival.

Fairmont Seoul refreshed its family banquet menu for May and has strengthened its banquet services. As family gatherings trend toward smaller, more meaningful celebrations, Fairmont has enhanced the entire banquet experience. The hotel updated its Korean, Western, and Chinese course menus and now offers A and B course options in each category so hosts can choose according to taste and budget.

Banquets are centered around the private event space Gallery 7. With seven different rooms, Fairmont can tailor setups to a range of occasions—first-birthday parties, 60th wedding anniversaries, intimate weddings, and business events. Each space is designed with separate event circulation, allowing hosts and guests to focus entirely on the celebration.

Gallery 7’s standout feature is its banquet operations system. Fairmont Seoul assigns a banquet specialist who handles everything from planning to execution, providing one-on-one, customized service. Through the hotel’s professional vendor network, guests can also add options like floral décor, premium table settings, professional photography, and emcees or musicians.

Among the rooms, Cerezo is perfect for small family gatherings of 10–20 people. It’s an independent room with bright natural light and a cozy atmosphere—staff can even prepare a baby crib in a subroom for first-birthday events. Azaleas, suited for medium-sized groups of 20–50 guests, is ideal for dignified celebrations like 60th anniversaries, small weddings, and milestone events. It features a 165-inch LED screen that vividly displays family videos or congratulatory messages.
