[TV Daily reporter Kim Jin-seok] Can Kim Seung-soo and Kim Hyung-mook patch things up on We Prescribe Love?
The 22nd episode of KBS2’s weekend drama We Prescribe Love (written by Park Ji-suk, directed by Han Jun-seo), which aired April 12, centered on the fallout between longtime friends Gong Jeong-han (Kim Seung-soo) and Yang Dong-ik (Kim Hyung-mook). In the episode, Gong Jeong-han kept his scheduled appearance on the TV program People’s Theater but publicly announced he was severing ties with Yang Dong-ik. Cha Se-ri (So Yi-hyun) then met Gong Ju-a (Jin Se-yeon) and warned her to stay quiet so no one would learn the truth about their staged video. Meanwhile, Gong Ju-a’s family discovered she had spent the night away from home. While on the phone with Han Seong-mi (Yoo Ho-jung), Yang Hyun-bin (Park Ki-woong) called out \”honey,\” and Han Seong-mi overheard. Gong Dae-han (Choi Dae-chul) reacted with fury, and younger brother Gong Woo-jae (Kim Sun-bin) voiced concern that his sister might be dating Yang Hyun-bin. Han Seong-mi showed up at Gong Ju-a’s workplace and slapped Park Jun-hyuk (Han Seung-won) on the back, mistakenly believing he was her boyfriend. After confronting them, she left. Park Jun-hyuk learned that Gong Ju-a and Yang Hyun-bin were involved in an office romance. Although asked to keep it secret, he tried to tell his boss — only to be overheard by Yang Hyun-bin, who shut him down. Han Seong-mi invited Park Jun-hyuk to her home for a meal, and he accepted. Gong Ju-a didn’t want him in the house, but his playful persistence won him entry. Yang Hyun-bin told Gong Ju-a he was uncomfortable with the situation.
Gong Dae-han sought an answer to the confession he had made to Yang Dong-sook (Jo Mi-ryung). She said they should secure permission from both families and suggested they date in secret. Back home, Gong Dae-han anxiously researched whether children from remarried families could legally marry. Later, he took Yang Dong-sook’s hand and promised, \”I will make the brothers reconcile.\” Na Seon-hae (Kim Mi-sook) noticed Gong Jeong-han’s changed mood, and Yang Dong-ik also found himself missing their friendship. Han Seong-mi asked, \”You two were always together — why so quiet now?\” Gong Jeong-han, reflecting on their bond, felt regret. Gong Ju-a dressed in matching couple outfits with Park Jun-hyuk, bought a gift hoping for a kiss from Yang Hyun-bin, and visited his house. Gong Dae-han prepared a pressure-filled interview to rattle Park Jun-hyuk, while Yang Hyun-bin warned the pair to be out within two hours. Park Jun-hyuk went to Gong Ju-a’s home, knelt, and apologized. Yang Hyun-bin met Cha Se-ri and aired his disappointments, even claiming he had someone he wanted to marry, which unsettled her. Later, Yang Hyun-bin confided his regrets to Gong Ju-a, and she admitted she was sorry she couldn’t accompany him. Gong Dae-han pressed to reconcile Gong Jeong-han and Yang Dong-ik for the sake of his own relationship. Gong Ju-a urged Gong Jeong-han to make peace, calling forgiveness a path to liberation.
