On the April 5 broadcast of JTBC’s Newsroom, Hong Kong actor Tony Leung, who stars in the film Friends of Silence, appeared for an interview.
He greeted viewers, saying, \”I’m very happy to return to Korea with a new project. I hope to have many opportunities to meet Korean audiences beyond film.\”
When asked whether he’d consider appearing in Korean productions, Leung said he’s open to projects from any region. \”Of course I’d like to work in Korean films. Even before Korean entertainment reached its current level, I watched many Korean movies. There are so many Korean actors I really admire, including Song Kang-ho and Jeon Do-yeon,\” he said.
He added, \”I’d definitely like to make a Korean film with those actors. There are also Korean directors I admire.\”
