[MyDaily = Reporter Kim Ha-young] Actress Ha Ji-won offered a rare look at her disciplined self-care routine.
On the 3rd, Ha Ji-won posted several photos to her social media account with a caption referencing Pop Mart blind-box pulls, butter rice cake and running — noting a Yangtze-related trend she spotted in Hangzhou.
The images capture moments from her time in Hangzhou, China. With her hair pulled back and dressed in a windbreaker, leggings, shorts and running shoes, she set out to run around a lakeside path at dusk, focused on her workout.
One photo taken after dark shows her standing with her arms outstretched, sweating but visibly refreshed after exercising. Fans also remarked on her ageless look, saying it’s hard to believe she’s in her mid-40s.
Another photo shows her unboxing a package filled with trending items. She lined the products up and shared the small pleasures of daily life with her followers.
Fans responded with comments like, “Have a great time overseas, Sun!” “Did you like the blind-box pulls?” “Chu Sang-a’s acting was amazing,” and “Seeing her run like that makes me reflect on myself today.”
Meanwhile, Ha Ji-won is currently starring in ENA’s Monday–Tuesday drama Climax. She plays Chu Sang-a and has drawn attention for a daring performance, saying she lost weight and reshaped her physique for the role.
On singer Sung Si-kyung’s YouTube channel, Ha explained, “People associate me with a healthy image, right? I intentionally did high‑intensity cardio and weight training to reduce muscle mass, and I used stretching to make my lines look longer and more delicate.”
She added that the process of “erasing myself” — stripping away her own mannerisms to fully become the character — was even harder than the acting itself, a revelation that drew further interest in her preparation.
