[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] The film The Man Who Lives with the King has edged past Avengers: Endgame and is now closing in on 14 million admissions.
According to the Korea Film Council’s integrated box office system on the 20th, The Man Who Lives with the King drew 107,193 viewers the previous day, retaining the No. 1 spot at the box office.
That brings its cumulative total to 13,953,452 admissions, surpassing Avengers: Endgame (13,930,000) and moving into fifth place on Korea’s all-time box office chart.
Project Hail Mary held the No. 2 spot with 53,227 viewers, bringing its cumulative total to 131,281 admissions.
The No. 3 spot went to Method Acting, starring Lee Dong-hwi. It attracted 6,991 viewers, pushing its cumulative total to 18,847.
