[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] Actor Seo In-guk turned up the sensuality in a moody new photo spread.

On the 19th, his agency Story J Company released several A-cut images from his shoot for the April issue of a fashion magazine.

In the photos, Seo commands attention with languid eyes and a chic charisma. He leans back on a sofa in a relaxed pose and fixes the camera with a steady gaze, creating a subdued yet evocative mood. In other frames, he uses a white flower prop to reveal a softer, dreamlike side.

In an interview after the shoot, Seo explained how he differentiated the two characters, Gu Young-il and Park Kyung-nam. \”When an actor plays two roles, viewers instinctively search for even small differences,\” he said. \”The script didn’t specify hair color, so I decided to dye it red. Kyung-nam speaks in a lower, breathier register, while Young-il uses a slightly brighter tone. I relied on those distinctions to separate the characters.\”

Asked how he would define what it means to be \”Seo In-guk-like,\” he said: \”I see myself as a flexible person. That lets me be straightforward at times, and I take pride in that. At work, emotions can clash, and people have differing opinions in life, but I don’t want to pick fights. I don’t insist on having the last word. I know there’s no single right answer, so I try to move on with flexibility. It’s not about ‘giving in’—I like the version of myself who can smile and let go of things that aren’t worth insisting on.\”

Seo appeared in the Netflix series Monthly Boyfriend, released on the 6th, where he played two roles: Park Kyung-nam, a consummate webtoon producer, and Gu Young-il, a boyfriend optimized for Mirae (Ji) within the show’s virtual world. He handled both parts convincingly, portraying each character’s distinct charms with nuance, which boosted the show’s immersion and earned praise for his steady performance.

Having demonstrated varied charms across projects and solidified his reputation as a rom-com standout, attention is on where Seo will take his acting next.
