Yoon-bom (Lee Joo-bin) and Seon Jae-kyu (Ahn Bo-hyun) found healing in each other’s arms, culminating in a heartwarming happy ending.
The final episode of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Spring Fever,’ which aired on the 10th, saw the couple finally overcoming their long-standing misunderstandings and emotional scars to reach their well-deserved happily ever after.
In a bold move, Yoon-bom posted the truth about the affair scandal on the school bulletin board. Determined to face the consequences head-on, he left his house to confront Jeong Nan-hee (Na Young-hee) and Yoon Jeong-ki (Jo Seung-yeon), baring his soul about the emotional turmoil caused by the misunderstanding.

Yoon-bom revealed his ongoing nightmares, saying, “The memory of that woman hitting me in front of the children and that man showing up at my house still haunts me. Even if the world forgets, I can’t shake off this trauma.”
Mustering his courage, Yoon-bom returned to school. Facing his students, he said, “I hope you saw the bulletin board. Whether you believe me or not, I can’t change that, but I hope you do. We don’t have much time left together, and I promise to make the most of it.”
After his speech, Yoon-bom opened the floor for questions. Surprisingly, Choi Se-jin asked about unrelated school matters, effectively steering the conversation away from the incident. This unspoken act of consideration brought unexpected comfort.
The compassion extended beyond the classroom. Teachers agreed not to bring up the incident, focusing instead on school business. Even the residents of Sin-su-eup offered silent support rather than prying questions.

With a lighter heart, Yoon-bom left for Seoul. A year passed, and despite lingering rumors, a judgment finally came through proving his innocence. Upon seeing the document, he was overcome with emotion.
During their separation, Seon Jae-kyu and Yoon-bom maintained their connection through daily phone calls. One day, feeling a sudden longing, Yoon-bom remembered the gift box Seon Jae-kyu had given him to open when he missed him. Hesitantly opening it, he found an unexpected item that sparked his anger, prompting an impromptu trip to Sin-su-eup.
Back in town, Yoon-bom was greeted by familiar faces, each having grown in their own way but still warmly welcoming him.
Kim Dae-han (Ahn Sang-jin) and Kim Min-guk (Choi In-woo) were now part-timers at Seon Jae-kyu’s company. Seon Han-gyeol (Jo Jun-young) and Choi Se-jin (Lee Jae-in) were set to attend the same university. Seo Hye-sook (Jin Kyung) and Jeong Jin-hyeok (Bae Jung-nam) continued their loving relationship.

Searching for Seon Jae-kyu, Yoon-bom found him at the beach where they had their first date. Dressed in a sharp suit, Seon Jae-kyu seemed to have been waiting for a long time.
Surprised, Yoon-bom asked, “Why are you here? What’s with the outfit? Is today special?” But what he really wanted to know was about the gift. He held up the box, demanding answers.
“I protected this through stormy nights, only to find a gas station freebie?” he exclaimed, his frustration evident.

Seon Jae-kyu smiled, explaining, “That item means a lot to me. Before you, I was always hiding my scars. Meeting you gave me the courage to show my true self to the world. You helped me shed the shell I couldn’t take off myself.”
Kneeling down, he produced a ring box. “I’ve been carrying this, waiting for you to confront me. You brought spring to my winter-cold heart. I promise to stand by you, through thick and thin.”

Before he could finish, Yoon-bom interrupted with a bright smile, “Yes! Whatever you’re about to say, my answer is yes!”
The couple excitedly discussed their wedding plans, future home, and dreams yet to come. Seon Jae-kyu lifted Yoon-bom, vowing, “Wherever and whenever, you’ll always be by my side.”
Sealing their deep love with a kiss by the ocean, they embraced their perfect happy ending.
